Hooray! I finished! I think it came out pretty darn good, if I do say so myself.
Joe & I went to Lancaster, PA for the weekend to try to catch a little glimpse of Spring (because Lord knows we won't be seeing it in CT for a while). We found this alley near a little fabric shop I wanted to go to.
I thought it just screamed 'Diagon Alley,' and we both agreed this was the perfect backdrop for the FO shoot.
I haven't written up the pattern yet, but I do have it in chicken scratch form, ready to go as soon as I get a little pocket of time to type it up. I had lots of fun designing it. I'm not sure I'm going to design all the time now, but at least i know if I find a sweater I MUST have, I can whip it up whenever I want.
STUPEFY!!!
I'm such a dork.

I love the new sweater!! The colors and fit are perfect and that last picture is really cool.
Are you picking on that poor statue? You bully! ;)
Your sweater came out great! You did a great job on it and it looks really good on you. Good job Jenny!
Beautiful. You ARE Hermione. I hope to see it in person soon.
Awesome job! ...and I love the bottom picture : )
The sweater looks great, and it fits perfectly. You're now going to join the ranks of those of us who are never satisfied with printed patterns. And, if you are a packrat like I am, you will start squirreling away pictures of sweaters from ads and catalogs that you might want to knit someday. (I even have a "sweater ideas" folder on my computer, and I "grab" pics from on-line catalogs. At least it doesn't get dusty.)
Wohoo! That sweater is really great, and MAN can you do some magic!!
:O)
I *love* all your photos and the sweater turned out fantastic!! It looks absolutely adorable on you :)

So incredibly cool! I'm so glad you had that "I've got to design this for myself" feeling! EXCELLENT!
Flippin' cute sweater!
I will fully admit to coveting that awesome sweater! I loved it when I saw it in the movie, but I might just love yours more. The stupefying the muggle is too cute. :) You really did find the perfect little entrance to Diagon Alley!
Do you think you'll be putting the pattern for that sweater up for sale? I'd love to make one!
That is very flattering! Super cute. And the photo shoot is a great touch.
That is pretty awesome! I need to learn how to knit a hoodie!
