Buncha savages in this town.......
The worst possible thing happened over Christmas at my mom's house. We were sitting around knitting and I realized I needed another needle to do a three needle bind off. I went out to my car to get my knitting bag, but just grabbed the one needle I needed instead. I went back inside, finished my mom's vest, and went to bed. I then realized I didn't lock the car back up, and went downstairs to lock it with "the button." The next morning, we found that in that hour and 15 minutes, some (very disappointed, i'm sure) theif stole my knitting bag out of my car, probably thinking it was a purse. I would have LOVED to see their face when they went digging for a wallet and found 12 sets of double pointed's. Ha Ha! I apparently visited their very peaceful little town during a "crime spree." Mom is scouring all the pawn shops today to see if they tried to pawn anything. Good luck, Mom!

Birthday Yarn from Mom & Dad
I do realize my birthday was over 2 weeks ago, but I keep forgetting to post about it. I'm so busy knitting gifts, I have no time for anything else. And those damn people at work keep expecting me to actually DO WORK! WTF? Anyway, this is Princess by Classic Elite, my future sweater. After Christmas presents and Anniversary Sweater.

fuzzies are done!
Well, here they are. I wish I could block these on his feet while he sleeps, but he's such a light sleeper, I don't think I'll be able to get away with it. So, grocery bags will have to do for now. I can always get them wet again after Christmas and mold them to his feet.

Joe's fuzzy feet (pre-felting)
It has taken a whole week of lunch break knitting as well as one SnB meeting, but I finally got fuzzy foot #1 complete. It is really hard to knit someone's Christmas gift in secret when you are around them all the time. Hopefully #2 won't take another week! I totally intended to knit the heel and toe orange, but completely forgot until it was too late. Oh well.

Llama hat
I finished this like a week ago, but the weather has been too crappy for taking pictures outside. I think it came out pretty good. I used my Rhinebeck handspun llama and a free crochet pattern.

Stitch N Bitch!!
So, last night was my first trip to abc in Newington for SnB, and it was awesome. I finally met people my age that knit. I knew all along they were out there, but had never actually seen any of them in person. Only 3 of us were there, but it was fun nonetheless. We stitched, we bitched, and a good time was had by all. Thanks for telling me about it, Eklectika!

Rhinebeck Purchases
So, I had major self control at Rhinebeck on Sunday. This teeny little ball of yarn was it! Well, that and this awesome Brittany crochet hook. Isn't it cool? Don't worry though, I came home and bought a buttload of Noro to make some Christmas presents out of.
